GoSign alternative: when free signing is no longer enough
GoSign is the free e-signing service of the Centre of Registers (Registrų centras), and the Lithuanian market can only be grateful for it. For an occasional single document it is entirely sufficient. But GoSign was built for signing documents one at a time, for yourself – not for a company's flow. When a month brings dozens of documents, several people sign and deadlines need tracking, the limits of such a service show.
The comparison is based on public gosign.lt information, 2026-06-10. Tvarka Sign is not a free copy of GoSign – it is a working tool for a company, where you pay only for successful qualified electronic signature (QES) signings.

When to choose GoSign
- You sign a single document a few times a year – the free state service is meant exactly for that.
- You do not need team access, storage or flow tracking.
When to choose Tvarka Sign
- Your company signs daily or in stacks – batch signing saves hours.
- More than one person signs: the Manager grants access to the accountant or a representative, and everyone signs with their own means.
- You want documents to stay in an orderly vault with history and archival PDF/A – not in a downloads folder.
- You have an ID card but do not want to carry a reader – you sign by tapping the card on your phone.

Frequently asked questions
GoSign will not open a document or freezes – what to do?
The most common causes are browser plugin or card software incompatibilities and large files. If you need the document signed now, Smart-ID and Mobile-ID work in Tvarka without any extra hardware, and the same reader works for the ID card.
How to sign an ADOC without GoSign?
Tvarka has an ADOC wizard: you upload the documents, the wizard builds an ADOC-V1.0 container, you sign with a QES and download a file fit for the institution.
Is a Tvarka Sign signature as valid as a GoSign signature?
Yes – in both cases it is a QES under the eIDAS Regulation, equivalent to a handwritten signature. What differs is not the force of the signature but the working tools around it.
