ADOC, ASiC-E and PDF
The ADOC wizard: a main document with its annexes
The Tvarka ADOC wizard helps you prepare a single ADOC container from a main document and its annexes.
How the container is assembled
In practice an ADOC usually needs one main document and several annexes. The wizard lets you put the sources in a clear order and prepare the container for signing.
Before the container is assembled, the documents are prepared as signable PDF or PDF/A versions. That avoids the situation where different applications render the same DOCX differently.
Limits
The Tvarka ADOC and ASiC-E wizards are aimed at a clearly bounded set of documents: up to 20 sources in one container, and up to 50 MB per uploaded file.
If all you need is one merged document without container metadata, the PDF merge wizard is usually enough.
Frequently asked questions
Are ADOC annexes signed together with the document?
Yes. When the annexes are inside the ADOC container, the signature is bound to the contents of the container.
Can an already signed ADOC go inside a new ADOC?
The wizard is for ordinary files and their PDF or PDF/A versions. If you already hold a signed container, it is better to check it or extract it separately.
Can I invite others to sign an ADOC?
Yes, but use the qualified signing methods for ADOC and ASiC-E.
