Switching from Dokobit to Tvarka Sign: documents, team and API

Why switching carries no risk

Under eIDAS a qualified electronic signature is part of the file, not a feature of the service that created it. A PDF, ASiC-E or ADOC document signed in the Dokobit portal stays valid wherever you keep it, and any qualified-signature validator can check it.

So the move is two plain steps: download what is already signed, and sign new documents where it costs less. Nothing signed earlier loses its legal effect.

What to take out of Dokobit

The documents are yours, so collect everything that is signed first and change or close the plan afterwards.

• Download every signed document in its original form (the PDF with its signatures, or the ASiC-E or ADOC container), not preview copies.
• Do it before you cancel a plan or close the account, so there is no reason to go back.
• If you used the Dokobit API or Documents Gateway, write the integration down: which processes create signing orders, what receives the callbacks, and where the results are stored.

The migration, step by step

Your electronic signature proves who you are, so there is no account to create with passwords and nothing to wait for.

1. Sign in to Tvarka with your electronic signature (Smart-ID, Mobile-ID or the ID card). The Manager confirms the company and grants access to the people who will sign on its behalf. There are no seat fees.
2. Upload the signed documents to Tvarka Sign. PDF, ADOC, ASiC-E and BDOC files up to 50 MB are accepted, and the signatures in each uploaded file are verified and shown next to the document.
3. Sign new documents in Tvarka: PDF with a PAdES signature for everyday paperwork, the ADOC wizard for Lithuanian public authorities, ASiC-E for partners elsewhere in the EU. A signed PDF can take further signatures in Tvarka wherever it was signed first.
4. Invite external signers who hold no Tvarka account by email; they sign with their own means.
5. Top up the balance from EUR 5 and pay only for successful signatures: from EUR 0.29 + VAT, and 30 to 40 percent less with an ID card or a USB token.

A team with no seat fees

Dokobit plans are priced per user per month (on 2026-09-11: Professional EUR 10, Business EUR 22, Enterprise EUR 25, excluding VAT). Tvarka has no seat fee: the Manager decides who acts for the company, whether the accountant, a deputy or a representative, and each of them signs with their own means.

Only the Manager grants access to the company, so the team can be any size and the invoice depends on the number of signatures alone.

Moving an API integration

Dokobit's Documents Gateway is sold as monthly plans from EUR 55 with a EUR 300 setup fee. The Tvarka Sign API has neither a plan nor a setup fee: the per-signature price is the one the portal charges, and the sandbox runs without payments.

• A signing order with several signers and a signing sequence matches the Gateway pattern of a document with participants.
• Cryptographically signed callbacks (webhooks) replace Gateway postbacks; you verify their signature on your side.
• The Manager issues API keys and each user finds their own key in Settings; sandbox and production keys are separate.

What you save

One manager signing 8 contracts a month pays EUR 120 a year on Dokobit's Professional plan and about EUR 28 a year in Tvarka Sign with Smart-ID, or about EUR 19 with an ID card. Three signers with 30 signatures a month pay EUR 792 a year on Dokobit's Business plan and about EUR 104 in Tvarka Sign.
